Smidley with Dominic Angelella at Club Dada

Named after a dear, departed black lab, Smidley is the more exuberant solo project of Foxing lead singer Conor Murphy. Arriving after his indie rock band’s 2015 sophomore album, Dealer, Triple Crown Records released the debut Smidley LP in mid-2017. Produced by Hop Along’s Joe Reinhart, it featured performances by musician friends including Dr. Dog’s Eric Slick, Tigers Jaw’s Ben Walsh, and Sorority Noise’s Cameron Boucher.
