Caloncho at Deep Ellum Art Co.

Caloncho is a Mexican singer and songwriter from Oregon (Sonora). Passionate about music since childhood, in his adolescence he learned to play drums and guitar and began to write his first songs. When his homemade demo Homeotermo caught the attention of producer Siddharta, the latter proposed to record an EP. The result, Fruta, was published in September 2013. Caloncho’s music can be described as a solar and organic pop / rock, with influences from Mexican folk, reggae and other beach genres.
