Drouth + Blasphemous Goat Vomit + Imperial Slaughter @ The Double Wide

With lyrical themes indebted to Borges, Ellison and Camus, Drouth’s fearlessly dynamic, torrential and weighty sound sits comfortably among a range of influences from black, death, doom and beyond. Initially formed in Portland, Oregon in winter 2012 under the name Contempt, the band released the “Skinwalker” demo and toured the US west coast in 2014. After a lineup shuffle, they re-emerged as Drouth, releasing the 3-song “Vast, Loathsome” EP in May 2015 and touring the US in the summer of that year. After a yearlong hiatus, they have returned to playing regular shows since the end of 2016.
