The Longview native describes his style as “Americana emo,” in the vein of his heroes Fall Out Boy, but with his own folksy touch that adds earnestness and clarity to his sound. Hall sports a wide-brimmed hat and a moustache, lending a little gravity to the type of face that will make him look younger than his years for at least another decade. Both on and off stage, he carries a rapier-sharp, self-deprecating wit that occasionally veers into deadpan goofiness.
