Caroline Elizabeth Polachek (born June 20, 1985) is an American musician, singer-songwriter and producer known as the former vocalist for now retired band Chairlift, as well as for writing and producing Beyoncé’s single “No Angel”. Polachek released a solo album, Arcadia, under her stage name Ramona Lisa in April 2014 via Terrible Records. In December 2016, Chairlift announced that they would be breaking up, and Polachek decided to continue making music as a solo artist. In 2017, she made Drawing The Target Around The Arrow, which she released as CEP. In October 2019, Polachek released her highly anticipated album, Pang, under her own name via Perpetual Novice. Several tracks from Pang were later remixed by notable artists such as Oklou and George Clanton.
