Tiki Loco, 2639 Elm Street #100

Tiki Loco is renowned for featuring the most delicious dishes for vegan lovers. They serve coffee, smoothies, Hawaiian shaved ice, fresh-pressed juice, and apparently vegan tacos!

Oliver Peck, the owner of Elm Street Tattoo, and his partner, Dean Williams, found that there is a need for fast yet healthy food options at Elm Street. Also, they witnessed the demand for high-quality coffee to be served in that area. With this in mind, they kick-started Tiki Loco that offers a plethora of beverages and juices for vegans. Coffee is served in the morning for office goers, and the kitchen gets started to serve the fast breakfast, lunch, and supper menus.

The restaurant is voted one of the best neighborhood breakfast points by D magazine. It is designed in such a way to quickly cater to the customer’s needs and get them to jump packed soon. However, you can also enjoy the dining for hours if you wish to. There is an online ordering service, too. It is casual with healthy dishes and fresh juices but is not open to alcohol.

The kitchen opens at 8 am every day and the service lasts till:

• 10 pm from Monday to Wednesday
• Midnight from Thursday to Sunday

Audra Cabral leads the kitchen and ensures to use Ralph’s SnowBalls that is 100 percent pure cane sugar. She makes all the condiments and seasonings by herself. To add a healthy aspect to ice, they top it with coconut cream. All the proteins that they use are soy-based to make the tacos and salads protein-rich. The dishes are absolutely gluten-free and no fillings encouraged. The tacos seasonings are chosen by the customers and styled as per the needs (Hawaiian, Citrus Chipotle, Ryno’s BBQ, Sweet Heat, etc.). The coffee is being franchised to White Rock Coffee, which roasts its own coffee beans to bring in the best quality coffee.
